This project with Penny Skateboards was two fold: showcase the 2017 line of skateboards while highlighting the new, fresh voice of the Penny Board brand. Penny Boards was eager to define themselves differently; to embody beach vibes infused with urban feels.
In order to achieve this Chrilleks was asked to jump on the task. Adding our creative spin in that quick turn around time, we produced a series of videos that features 45 different boards in the 2017 Penny Board line.
The Graphic line was inspired by graffiti-lined concrete jungles. The Metallic, offering sleek and shiny features, which deserves a video that feels just as sheek. The Glow series was captured past curfew, at the end of Route 66 on the iconic Santa Monica Pier, shh don't tell mom. And the Classic line, keepin' it OG status!
